Carrie has always been surrounded by the world of insurance, thanks to her family’s legacy. Her grandfather founded Midwest Insurance Center in 1968, and although she never met him—he passed away the year she was born—his passion for exceptional service lives on through her father and now through Carrie herself.
Growing up, Carrie loved visiting her dad at the office, jumping down the hallway steps at the prior Lansing, Illinois location, and making copies of her face on the Xerox machine with her siblings. These childhood memories instilled in her a deep appreciation for the work that goes into running a successful agency. In high school, she worked as a receptionist, filing paperwork and learning the ropes of the business.
Today, Carrie wears many hats at Midwest Insurance, focusing primarily on human resources and serving as Tommy’s personal and professional encourager. Together, they are raising their four daughters and enjoy being involved in their church, traveling, and cheering on their girls in their extracurricular activities. Carrie’s journey reflects a deep commitment to family, community, and the values she holds dear.
