Born in California and raised in Virginia, Tommy Edwards has always embraced new opportunities. He attended James Madison University, earning a degree in Integrative Science and Technology. During his time at JMU, Tommy joined CRU, where he met his wife, Carrie. Their connection was instant, leading to marriage and a shared journey of building their life together.
After a brief stint as a government consultant, Tommy pursued a graduate degree in Secondary Science Education. However, his career path shifted when he joined Midwest Insurance Center as an intern in 2010, moving to Indiana with his family despite knowing no one there. Tommy quickly discovered a passion for insurance and helping clients protect what they love. His enthusiasm for teaching has been invaluable in educating both clients and team members about insurance. In 2024, Tommy became a business owner, continuing Midwest Insurance Center’s legacy as a third-generation family-owned business.
Outside of work, Tommy is active in his church and enjoys sports, hiking, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his wife and four daughters. His journey reflects a commitment to growth, family, and community.
